About us
How we came to be
While I am but one humble author, numerous supporters have developed and constructed stories and new ideas for your reading pleasure. This company was first created in 2018 under the name of MoviesForYou, but after the reconstruction of a new website and a main focus on the blog, Curious Quests was born on June 5, 2020. Of course, the story began in 2018 and grew at an alarmingly slow rate, but my team and I are determined to bring you the best, and weirdest, stories in the world (and others). It all started with the creation of "the local idiot". Understand that this was not originally meant to progress to the extent it has, but over the years he has become one of the main characters in the city he now resides in. All of the characters you see in these stories are related to real-life humans but none of them can ever be revealed, due to privacy rules and Corporate. The first post on this inspiring blog was co-authored by a fellow friend of mine, yet remains in secret for fear of several things to be undisclosed. It was inspired by the podcast Nightvale but is in no way in correlation with them.
Who I am
My identity remains in secret due to several reasons:
1. I am mostly afraid of the outside world. Yeah, you're intimidating. Congratulations.
2. I may or may not be being stalked by a similar ShAgY and must keep running away from the doom that would be imposed on me should my location or name be discovered... Haha may or may not be accurate.
3. Under the well-designed websites that I see frequently online, I have studied the code that can be easily hacked and altered in order to ruin a person's career. I would like to keep my personals, my personals

And finally, I'm just not comfortable in my own body and gender to come out to this world and reveal who I am. A lot of readers will judge a book by its cover, not saying that it's you specifically, but gender, race, colour, sexuality, and size still play a huge role in discrimination in this world. Whilst we strive to protect those who are weak, we must conquer the failure of the distribution of human rights to all HUMANS. This is why I must continue to go underneath the name of Mysterious Lavender.
