Vivacious is a curious word...

Fate is such a curious spirit. As one begins its journey in life, different beliefs can guide individuals to a path of freedom or be doomed to a road already paved and walked upon. It allows the soul who believes in it to make a choice between believing that fate controls the universe, and in one so strange as ours may be quite big, or understanding that everyone has thoughts and nothing could ever possibly be pre-planned due to the unpredictable races on Earth and other nearby stars. Of course, there is actually a right answer, but I couldn't tell you that, otherwise Corporate will have my head. Or at least one of them.

Corporate received quite a distressful telepathic signal within their cases from a neighbourhood they didn't know existed. Wrapped up in their cozy bundles of blankets, they wanted to continue resting in order to restore full bubbliness into the world. Even still, they clear their desks and for five clear queer minutes, play rock paper scissors in order to decide who will go deal with this insignificant problem. Alas, the timer strikes 1133 hours past noon on April 27th, and unfortunately, the newbie Loupella Albedo Lang, Lou for short, picked gluestick which isn't even in the game, calling for immediate disqualification. Lou barely flinched at the report that she would be the one to deal with deadly matters as it was nothing compared to her past. This was lucky for Caitlyn as she was actually only astral projecting herself into the room and clearly wasn't even there. She was dealing with a surprise of her own, but that's for later matters. On a more important note, let me personally give you a short backstory of how Corporate came to be...

Once upon a time there was a land full of only circular transparent orbs. All of them were named Vivian. This of course would have been confusing for a simple human's mind, but Vivians are such complex creatures that they just know. They just know. They are filled with the boundless lengths of knowledge and warmth and sparkling liquids fizz inside of their see-through bodies, jumping to the melisma that is continuously going on inside of them (melisma is a Greek word for song or melody or air which is exactly what these Vivians' essences are made up of). All of their round bodies seem to exhibit wonderful vivacious vibes all throughout, always a consistent pattern. Their consciences seem to merge into one being and grow into an omniscient divine collective thought. One single thought though, can change an entire conversation, a perspective, a decision. Most of their days consisted of shining the brightest reflections at each other and smiling, though they have no mouth. It's just their floating lighter-than-air fluid-filled bodies were created by ASDasdASDAdadADasd and whilst they were created, a tear drop spashed onto their leader from the creator, causing them to gain all knowledge and power. This lead to their floating always-happy selves who show no selfishness, no fierceness, no aggression.

Simply Peace. Peace for all...

Until that one night.

Ohhh that dreadful one night. The night that changed all our lives. The night that mothers and fathers and other parents wouldn't dare tell their children, even as a punishment, for fear that they would be possessed by the unexplained curse. The curse that makes even the purest of spirits bow to inexpiable sins. The curse that was brought by the omniscient master who controls this universe, at least this version, and demanded sole worshiping to his shapeless form. The unforgiving, ever-cruel, over-controlling, relentless one and only... ShAgY.

The toner pouring from swirling holes that could only be explained by black holes from another universe. The hurricanes and other natural disasters that were only contained in a single room but wreaked havoc so badly it was unrecognizable once finished. Random spiky objects rolling all over the place. The entire planet was covered in stew and toner mushed together by tsunamis and winds, pushing the spiky balls all over the place and occasionally popping one of the ever-precious Vivians. The purple clouds hurled hot dogs from the sky, as every Vivian with their joyous faces still permanently in place atop their chin floated as fast as they could to a black hole that had coincidentally turned into a portal to Earth. One by one, they fell yet their determination was impenetrable, together they stood as one. As the last shower of hot dogs narrowly missed the last of the Vivians, they looked back at what used to be their home. No more could they reminisce with the memories of a perfect life, with all Vivians together, working as a single team to keep the peace and harmony. Floating cubes of memories, frozen in place until viewing, had been destroyed, leaving nothing but trash and lost familiarities. The black hole closed up with less than half of their original clan and the Vivians mourned their loss...

Welp, getting back on track, my goodness I have lost track of time. The point is, once Corporate escaped the hell reality of what their home used to be, they accepted the capital role, that did not exist before, of making the biggest decisions on this reality of this planet. Auditions were held in order to work for them, yet were unique for each applicant, making it impossible to prepare. If you were the right one, you were. Otherwise, you weren't. No arguments allowed.

Anyway, whilst one of the Vivians and Lou headed out fully-armed with her own concealed weapons, enough that should have slowed her to a crawl but she looked unfazed, Caitlyn promptly disappeared without any reaction from anyone. They all knew she wasn't really there. They just didn't know where she truly was. Lou faded into the darkness of the dimly lit halls at the office and proceeded to somehow end up at the neighbourhood that didn't exist before this. One of her contacts informed her that she was on the intersection of Nellie Rd. and Mary St., a common place for conflict. As she arrived on scene, all was silent. Her human senses couldn't detect any movement, but the Vivian could feel several presences besides Lou, all moving at record-speeds and yet staying in one spot.

"They are located upstairs," Vivian communicated to Lou telepathically.

"On it," Lou whispered, nunchukus out and ready to attack.

They approach the door that seems to have been previously broken down by the Unarmed Peace Police Department. They were standing with a potato gun pointed at the stairs and a jug of sauce with a dog in it looking very disappointed. They sensed Lou's and Vivian's presence and step aside whilst still guarding the door. The local idiot was still in shock over by the fireplace, a half-eaten biscuit still frozen within his hand. Grandma Raeyechaeyelle had her umbrella out, and only Vivian was unafraid of it...

Oh, I'm so sorry folks. That's all the time I have for today, but more on that story on the next day.

Remember: smile and all will be okay :)
